TNH WORKED WITH INSMART JOINT STOCK COMPANY ON HOSPITAL FEE GUARANTEE SERVICES (DIRECT BILLING) AT THE HOSPITAL

       On November 23, 2023, Thai Nguyen International Hospital Joint Stock Company (TNH) had an online working session with Insmart Joint Stock Company (Insmart) on issues related to hospital fee guarantee services at the hospital. Attending the program were leadership representatives and experts in charge of hospital fee guarantee issues (Direct Billing) of the two units.

At the meeting, Insmart representatives informed about the compensation situation of direct billing, the current status of direct billing at Thai Nguyen International Hospital and proposed to increase the rate of direct billing in the coming time from 36% in 2023 to 50% in 2024.

In addition, Insmart also popularizes a number of topics: List of diseases that need to be kept in mind when admitting to hospital for inpatient treatment; List of surgical diseases that need to be kept in mind when inpatient hospitalization is indicated; Data and plans from hospitals to reduce hospitalizations for minor illnesses that do not require hospitalization or surgeries that only require a day stay in the hospital, putting warnings on software, etc.

 

Overview of the working session between TNH and Insmart

TNH’s representative informed about the actual treatment at the hospital and made a number of recommendations and suggestions to improve the effectiveness of coordination in dealing with direct billing cases. At the same time, TNH agrees with the view of clearly showing the description of disease symptoms on the file so that the Insurance company has enough basis to evaluate the file. TNH wishes to receive a list of diseases that limit long-term hospital stays to propagate to doctors as a basis to help minimize hospitalization of diseases in this list.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides agreed on a number of important contents, committing to continue accompanying, supporting, and coordinating towards the highest goal in implementing direct billing for customers, improving services, serving patients quickly, effectively, without hassle about procedures. At the same time, we aim to further improve customer care steps, apply IT in management, and share information to connect customers to make it more convenient for customers to experience medical examination and treatment at the hospital.
