I. General introduction

The Department of Diagnostic Imaging, Yen Binh Thai Nguyen General Hospital gathers a team of highly specialized and experienced doctors and technicians, constantly learning and developing new techniques to help improve the quality of diagnostic imaging, actively coordinating with clinical departments in diagnosing and treating diseases, helping the process of performing interventional procedures safely and effectively.

III. Functions and tasks

Performing diagnostic imaging techniques: X-ray, ultrasound, CT scan and magnetic resonance.

Outstanding services:

+ Computed tomography (CT):

Traumatic diseases: Acute brain, thoracic and abdominal injuries (solid organ rupture, hollow organ perforation, etc.)

Acute stroke diseases: cerebral infarction, cerebral hemorrhage, etc.

Acute abdominal pain diseases: appendicitis, intestinal diverticulitis, acute pancreatitis, acute intestinal and mesenteric infarction, etc.

Other diseases in the abdomen and thorax: liver tumors, pancreatic tumors, kidney tumors, gastrointestinal tumors, lung tumors, bacterial and viral pneumonia, thoracic aortic dissection, etc.

+ Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI):

Early stage acute diseases in the central nervous system such as: cerebral infarction, cerebral hemorrhage, ruptured cerebral vascular malformations, etc.

Other diseases in the brain: brain tumors, cerebral vascular malformations, bacterial and viral encephalitis, congenital malformations, etc.
