TNH DONATES MONEY TO THE HO BON ETHNIC MINORITY DAY-BOARDING PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOL, YEN BAI TO RECOVERING THE EFFECTS OF FLOOD

The Ho Bon Primary and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, Ho Bon Commune, Mu Cang Chai District, Yen Bai Province was the place that suffered the most damage from the flash flood of last August 5’s night. In order to share, support and encourage teachers and students of the school, on August 16, 2023, Thai Nguyen International Hospital Joint Stock Company (TNH) organized an online meeting program with representatives of school leaders and donated an amount of over 34 million VND to help the school have more funds to repair and stabilize the school to prepare for the new school year.

It is known that the flash flood on August 5 caused serious damage to Ho Bon Primary and Secondary School for ethnic minorities: The mechanical system was mostly buried and damaged; Teaching equipment and books are almost impossible to use; The student’s semi-boarding rice stockpile was also partially flooded; The classrooms, furniture, and pillows of students were flooded with flood water; The clean water system, toilet facilities, tables and chairs in the dining area were also drifted and damaged.

With the spirit of mutual affection, towards the community, as soon as the information was known, TNH’s Board of Directors launched a donation and support campaign for all employees of the company. After 3 days of fundraising, an amount of 34,120,000 VND has been collected to send to teachers and students of Ho Bon Primary and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities.
