TRAINING WORKSHOP ON ENHANCING PROFESSIONAL CAPACITY FOR NURSES, MIDWIVES, AND TECHNICIANS

In response to World Patient Safety Day, on the morning of September 17, 2024, Yen Binh General Hospital in Thai Nguyen organized a professional capacity enhancement training session for the hospital’s nurses, midwives, and technicians. The training program aimed to reinforce, retrain, and update the essential professional skills required for patient care activities.
During the training session, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Minh Huong, Head Nurse of the hospital, delivered a presentation on Guidelines for Safe Injection in Healthcare Facilities in accordance with Decision No. 3671/QĐ-BYT dated September 27, 2012, issued by the Ministry of Health. This is one of the key topics covered in the continuous training program mandated by the Ministry of Health.
Mrs. Nguyễn Thị Minh Hương, Head Nurse of the hospital, delivered a training session on Guidelines for Safe Injection Practices.
The program aimed to enhance knowledge about Safe Injection and Infection Control, equipping healthcare staff with standard preventive measures. It also focused on improving awareness and practical skills in safe injection practices to minimize risks of accidents from needle sticks or sharp objects.
Specialist doctor level 1 Le Van Minh – Deputy Director of the hospital, spoke at the training session in response to World Patient Safety Day on September 17th.
He emphasized that the training programs aimed at enhancing the professional capacity of nurses, midwives, and technicians are regularly organized by Yen Binh General Hospital in Thai Nguyen. These efforts contribute to improving the quality of medical examination, treatment, and patient care, ensuring patient safety and promoting the development of a high-quality workforce to meet patient satisfaction.
