THE DENGUE FEVER TENDS TO INCREASE RAPIDLY

According to statistics from the Ministry of Health, it is estimated that from the beginning of 2023 until now, our country has recorded nearly 76 thousand cases of dengue fever, and 18 deaths.

The dengue fever tends to increase rapidly and the number of cases is forecast to continue to increase, making the situation extremely complicated.

Currently, there is no specific treatment or vaccine for dengue fever, so the most effective measure is to proactively prevent it through the following measures:

• Prevent mosquito bites by killing mosquitoes and larvae.
• Use mosquito net when going to bed.
• Regularly clean the living environment.
• Eliminate stagnant water inside and outside the house to prevent mosquitoes from breeding and growing.

 If you have signs of getting dengue fever such as high fever, severe headache in the forehead or back of the head, eye socket pain, rash and redness, you should immediately go to a medical facility for examination, diagnosis and treatment. Treat promptly, absolutely do not self-treat at home.
