THAI NGUYEN INTERNATIONAL HOSPITAL ORGANIZES SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITIES IN THE 4TH QUARTER OF 2023

On December 20, 2023, Thai Nguyen International Hospital under Thai Nguyen International Hospital Joint Stock Company (TNH) organized a scientific activity program with the theme “Cardiovascular risk assessment tool – Vietnamese version”. The program has the participation of many doctors and pharmacists in departments and rooms of Thai Nguyen International Hospital.

In recent years, cardiovascular disease is one of the diseases causing high mortality rates, especially for young people. Therefore, assessing cardiovascular risk factors is really necessary, helping physicians plan preventive treatment for patients, while limiting and preventing serious consequences due to cardiovascular disease causes, reducing the burden on the patient’s family and society.

Spoke at the program, People’s Doctor, Senior Doctor – Mr.Le Xuan Tan – General Director of TNH, said that cardiovascular disease is a disease that can be prevented by medicine, therefore, the doctors and nurses at Thai Nguyen International Hospital Joint Stock Company need to actively study and apply new advances in detecting, diagnosing and treating patients.

These factors lead to diseases: myocardial infarction, stroke, arrhythmia, congestive heart failure…

To help doctors evaluate cardiovascular risk, the Vietnam National Heart Association has used the SCORE_VN application developed on the mobile phone platform in 2021. Until now, the SCORE_VN application has been updated to a new version and web-based version, giving users more access. Using the CORE_VN application helps doctors stratify cardiovascular risk and determine treatment strategies quickly in 30 seconds; Friendly Vietnamese version, easy to use; In particular, visualizing cardiovascular risk levels is a meaningful, intuitive and vivid tool to help doctors advise patients effectively.

The advantages of the SCORE_VN application have helped TNH doctors and nurses update new knowledge and improve skills, thereby contributing to the process of diagnosis, detection and improving treatment effectiveness for patients.
