THAI NGUYEN INTERNATIONAL HOSPITAL IS LICENSED TO “EXAMINE AND TREAT OCCUPATIONAL DISEASE”

On Jun 20, 2023, The Ministry of Health issued Decision No.2601/QĐ-BYT approving additional scope of professional activities for Thai Nguyen International Hospital to perform the task of “examining and treating occupational diseases”.

Accordingly, Thai Nguyen International Hospital is allowed to perform the following specific tasks:

– Health check before arranging work.

– Examining to detect occupational diseases for employees.

– Periodic examination for employees suffering from occupational diseases.

The time of examining occupational disease will be performed in the following cases:

– In case of examining and detecting occupational diseases:

+ Ordinary employees: At least once a year.

+ People doing heavy, hazardous, dangerous works or particularly heavy, hazardous of dangerous jobs, disable people, juveniles, elderly people: at least every 6 months.

+ People suspected of having acute occupational diseases or at the request of enterprises or employees: the time of examining to detect occupational diseases is on demand.

– In case of periodic examination of occupational diseases: depends on different type of diseases.
