Acute respiratory infection: is a common disease, most common in children under 5 years old. Causes: Viruses, bacteria, fungi, parasites… Symptoms of the disease are fever, cough, difficulty breathing depending on the extent of the disease.
Hand – foot – mouth disease: A disease caused by a virus. Injury to the skin and mucous membranes in the form of blisters in places such as mouth, palms, soles, buttocks, knees… accompanied by fever, sore throat, sore mouth… The disease can cause many complications such as encephalitis, Myocarditis, acute pulmonary edema leading to death.
Viral fever in children is one of the most common diseases, which is a reaction in children when infected with a certain virus. Symptoms include high fever, body aches, headache with symptoms of upper respiratory tract infection such as sneezing, runny nose, etc. The disease can resolve itself after 5 to 7 days, rarely more than 7 days. But it can also be accompanied by other symptoms, causing severe development depending on the type of virus and the child’s host factor. If it is not detected in time and properly cared for, such as: severe pneumonia caused by RSV, influenza, cerebral edema, myocarditis, pulmonary edema caused by hand, foot and mouth virus; bleeding, shock due to dengue fever…can be fatal.
Dengue fever: An infectious disease causing hemorrhage caused by mosquitoes that transmit dengue virus from sick people to healthy people. Symptoms include high fever and hemorrhage. Severe cases of bleeding can lead to shock due to hypovolemia, coagulopathy and organ failure… If not diagnosed early and treated promptly, it will lead to death.
Acute diarrhea: Also common in children under 5 years old. The disease is manifested by vomiting and watery stools many times (within less than 14 days). As a result of the disease, children are dehydrated and lose salt from mild to severe. If salt and water are not replenished promptly and properly, death can result from severe dehydration.
In case the child is sick, parents need to closely monitor, if the symptoms become severe, they should immediately take the child to the hospital for timely examination and treatment and take measures to prevent summer illness. , avoid dangerous complications.
