STAFF OF THE INSTITUTE OF ORGANIZATIONAL AND DIGITAL ECONOMY RESEARCH WORKING AT TNH

In order to implement the task: “Building and applying a lean management system combining a laboratory capacity and quality management system according to ISO 15189 standards”. On May 23, 2024, the delegation of the Institute for Digital Economy and Organization Research had a working session with Thai Nguyen International Hospital Joint Stock Company (TNH). Receiving and working with the delegation were Mr. Tran Thien Sach, member of the Board of Directors, Deputy General Director of TNH and representatives of leaders of relevant faculties and departments.

At the program, the representative of the Institute for Digital Economy and Organization Research shared information about building and applying a lean management system combining a capacity and quality management system according to ISO 15189 standards.

Accordingly, ISO 15189 is a standard system that helps medical laboratories improve quality management capacity as well as increase the level of reliability in testing and diagnostic results. Operating the management system according to this standard helps the testing department improve accuracy, ensure reliability, and promote recognition of results among patient examination and treatment facilities nationwide.

Overview of the working program between TNH and the Institute for Digital Economy and Organization Research

      Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tran Thien Sach, Deputy General Director of TNH, on behalf of the company’s Board of Directors, expressed the high determination of the staff in implementing and applying advances in management and operations to improve hospital operational efficiency.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed and established a specialized department to continue implementing specific tasks. The program is mainly implemented in 5 departments and rooms of Thai Nguyen International Hospital, including: Department of Examination, Laboratory, Internal Medicine, Pharmacy – Medical Supplies and Department of Administrative Organization. At the same time, the two sides will coordinate to organize focused training classes to improve knowledge for hospital staff on building and applying a lean management system combined with a laboratory capacity and quality management system according to ISO 15189 standards. Expected time to develop and complete the necessary conditions for practical application is from now until the end of December 2024.
