WARNING SIGNS OF HYPOTHYROIDISM

    Hypothyroidism is a prevalent endocrine disorder that, over time, can lead to significant complications and functional impairments if not addressed promptly

* Signs of Hypothyroidism:

  • Persistent constipation and difficulty defecating.
  • Pallor and cyanosis accompanied by dry skin and cold intolerance.
  • Frequently experiencing anorexia or a lack of taste during meals.
  • Voice may become hoarse or notably deeper.
  • Common feelings of stress or an overwhelming sense of depression.
  • Diminished memory capabilities.
  • Occasional difficulty breathing, rapid breathing, or a slowed heart rate.
  • Chronic pain in muscles and joints.
  • Sluggish movement and reduced flexibility.
  • In women, potential irregularities in menstrual cycles.
  • A general decrease in libido is common among patients.

* For severe cases, symptoms may include: Edema in the face and limbs, enlarged tongue, darker skin, and a thicker dermal layer.
