The Laboratory Department with biosafety standard level II

I. General Introduction.

– Laboratory Department of Thai Nguyen International Hospital is a subclinical department, addressed at: 2^nd floor – Thai Nguyen International Hospital, No.328 Luong Ngoc Quyen, Dong Quang district, Thai Nguyen city, Thai Nguyen province.

– Laboratory Department of Thai Nguyen International Hospital is equipped with modern, high-precision machines and automatic sample analyzer that ensure high standard of commonly used panels and specialized tests of following fields: Biochemistry – Immunology, Hematology, Microbiology, Anatomy. The time of results returning is short, time and resources saving.

– The Department has a managing and storing software system which is absolutely confidential about the client’s results and information. Always willing to back up or control client’s results.

II. Structure.

The total number of staffs of Laboratory Department, including: 15 people.

– Head of Department: Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Thi Hong Van

(Former head of Biochemistry Department of National Hospital of Endocrinology)

– Bachelor’s Degree: 12 people.

– Intermediate and College Degree: 2 people.

III. Function and task.

– Laboratory Department performs procedures, testing process on Hematology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Parasite.

– Periodically standardize the technical procedures to ensure the testing quality.

– Planning to reserve testing equipment, chemicals, reagents and biological products to serve the testing work.

– Having close contact with clinical and subclinical departments to collect and process information on professional techniques to improve testing quality.

– Perform rapid and accurate test to support subclinical expertise, helping doctors have more bases for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

– Managing and using medical equipment.

– Updating and implementing new techniques and tests.

– Participating in scientific research.

IV. Outstanding Achievement.

– The 1^st laboratory department in Thai Nguyen that applied 2-way automatic push connection with advantages of accuracy, quick results returning time, saving human resources and costs, …

– The laboratory room’s quality achieved 3-star level with the highest point in the province according to the set of criteria “Assessment of laboratory’s quality level” according to Decision No.2429/QĐ-BYT dated June 12, 2017, approved by Thai Nguyen province Health Department.

– Deploying and performing all tasks according to assigned functions and tasks.

– Strict implementation of regulations and speciality.

– Received the excellent collective certificate in 2022 from Thai Nguyen International Hospital JSC.

– Perform nearly 1.000.000 tests, including: Biochemistry-Immunology tests, Hematology tests, Microbiology tests, Pathology tests annually which are accurate, fast and resources-saving.
