UNION MEAL – WARMING THE HEARTS OF WORKERS

      On August 15th, the Trade Union of the Thai Nguyen Health Sector, in collaboration with the Trade Union of TNH Hospital Group Joint Stock Company, organized the “Union Meal” program for trade union members working at Thai Nguyen International Hospital. Attending the event were Comrade Tran Thi Hong Thai, Vice President of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Confederation of Labor; People’s Doctor, Senior Physician Le Xuan Tan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors cum General Director of TNH Hospital Group Joint Stock Company.

     The “Union Meal” program is a meaningful activity initiated by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and has been timely and effectively implemented by the Thai Nguyen Provincial Confederation of Labor and the Trade Union of the Thai Nguyen Health Sector. Thai Nguyen International Hospital is one of three non-public medical units selected to host the “Union Meal.”

    The program attracted the participation of 280 trade union members working at Thai Nguyen International Hospital. The members were very enthusiastic and delighted to receive the attention and support of the various levels of the trade union. Through the “Union Meal,” it is an opportunity for workers, the Trade Union organization, and the leadership of TNH Hospital Group Joint Stock Company to share, build trust, and strengthen the bond between members, workers, the Trade Union organization, and the business. Additionally, the program helps attract, gather, and develop union members, effectively taking care of their material and spiritual lives, aiming to build long-term welfare programs for members and workers.

The organization of the “Union Meal” is an activity that draws attention and focuses resources on providing meals during shifts and lunch at the workplace for workers.
