In order to join hands to care for the health of the community, especially the elderly, the Department of Ophthalmology, Thai Nguyen International Hospital organized a free eye disease examination and consultation program for the elderly in 32 communes, wards in Thai Nguyen city.
Accordingly, in the days from June 11 to June 14, 2024, over 600 elderly people in the wards: Huong Son, Hoang Van Thu, Phu Xa, Tich Luong were examined and consulted for free about eyes diseases. Elderly people who come for examination will be examined by the hospital’s medical team and doctors to check eye function, examine vision, and have ophthalmoscopy. For mild cases, the doctor will advise and instruct patients on how to care for, clean, and protect your eyes at home to improve and maintain vision. For cases diagnosed with serious eye diseases such as: cataracts,…, doctors will advise patients on treatment.
