With more than 12 years of experience in surgery, MSc. MD. Ha Van Duc from the Department of General Surgery is highly experienced in managing abdominal emergencies and treating common surgical conditions.

He received formal medical training at Hanoi Medical University and University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City. In addition, he continuously enhanced his expertise through advanced training programs at leading surgical centers such as Viet Duc University Hospital, Cho Ray Hospital, and University Medical Center Ho Chi Minh City. These experiences have enabled him to continuously update his professional knowledge and apply modern treatment techniques in clinical practice.

Extensive experience in surgical specialties

Throughout his clinical career, MSc. MD. Ha Van Duc has gained extensive experience in:

• Laparoscopic gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary surgery
• Management of abdominal emergencies such as peritonitis, intestinal obstruction, and gastrointestinal perforation
• Open and laparoscopic abdominal wall and inguinal hernia surgery
• Surgical treatment of anorectal diseases
• General surgery

In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Duc actively participates in scientific research. He was the principal investigator of a research project on the management of intestinal perforation caused by ingested foreign bodies. He also contributed to medical education and training for students at Hai Duong Medical Technical University.
