TNH HOSPITAL GROUP SUCCESSFULLY ORGANIZES CME WORKSHOP ON 1.5 TESLA MRI

On the afternoon of 30 July 2026, TNH Hospital Group Joint Stock Company, in collaboration with GE HealthCare and Meditronic, successfully organized a Continuing Medical Education (CME) workshop entitled “1.5 Tesla MRI in Modern Clinical Practice: Optimizing Diagnosis – Enhancing Treatment Effectiveness.” The event attracted a large number of experts, physicians, and radiologic technologists who gathered to update their knowledge on the latest advances in diagnostic imaging.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Le Tuan Thanh, MD, PhD – Medical Director of TNH Hospital Group, emphasized the importance of continuously updating professional knowledge and mastering modern technologies in diagnostic imaging to improve the quality of medical examination, diagnosis, and treatment.

The workshop was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Le Tuan Linh, MD, PhD – Vice Director of the Hospital and Director of the Center for Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiology, Hanoi Medical University Hospital. He highlighted the significance of the workshop as an academic forum for professional networking, experience sharing, and promoting the application of MRI in modern clinical practice.

The scientific program began with a presentation by Mr. Huynh Phuoc Hanh – MRI Product Specialist, GE HealthCare, on the topic “Next-Generation 1.5 Tesla MRI Technology: A Comprehensive AI Platform for Modern Diagnostic Imaging.” The presentation introduced advanced technologies designed to optimize imaging workflows and improve diagnostic accuracy.

This was followed by a presentation from Dr. Tran Viet Hung, MD, MSc – Center for Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiology, Hanoi Medical University Hospital, on “Applications of MRI in the Diagnosis of Neurological and Oncological Diseases,” providing updates on prominent MRI applications in clinical practice.

Concluding the scientific session, Dr. Ngo Thi Ly Ly, MD, MSc – Center for Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiology, Hanoi Medical University Hospital, presented “Cardiac MRI: Assessment of Cardiac Structure, Function, Perfusion, and Myocardial Tissue,” offering valuable insights into the diagnosis and evaluation of cardiovascular diseases using MRI.

The discussion session was conducted in a lively and interactive atmosphere, with practical exchanges between leading experts and participating physicians and radiologic technologists. The discussions focused on real-world MRI applications in clinical practice, contributing to the enhancement of professional capacity and the effectiveness of diagnostic imaging in healthcare services.

At the end of the program, the Organizing Committee awarded certificates of participation to attendees in recognition of their commitment to continuous professional education activities.
