THAI NGUYEN PROVINCIAL DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH CONDUCTS APPRAISAL FOR THE ADJUSTMENT OF THE OPERATING LICENSE OF THAI NGUYEN INTERNATIONAL HOSPITAL

On July 17, 2026, an appraisal delegation from the Thai Nguyen Provincial Department of Health, led by Ms. Tieu Thi Van Hanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Health, conducted an official working session at Thai Nguyen International Hospital to assess the hospital's application for an adjustment to its medical examination and treatment operating license.

The appraisal was carried out in accordance with current regulations governing medical examination and treatment activities. The primary purpose was to evaluate the hospital's proposal to expand its operational capacity and supplement its approved list of medical technical services. This represents an important step in strengthening the hospital's professional capabilities, expanding healthcare services, and meeting the growing healthcare needs of the community.

During the working session, the appraisal delegation conducted a comprehensive on-site inspection of the hospital's operating conditions, including its infrastructure, medical equipment, human resources, professional capacity, operational processes, and compliance with the submitted licensing documents.

Following the inspection and evaluation, the delegation acknowledged and highly appreciated the hospital's continuous efforts to improve the quality of medical services. In particular, the newly established dedicated Obstetrics and Gynecology Department—featuring modern outpatient clinics, delivery rooms, inpatient wards, and well-equipped functional areas—has significantly enhanced the hospital's capacity to receive, treat, and provide comprehensive care for mothers and newborns while ensuring a safe, comfortable, and high-quality healthcare environment.

In addition, the hospital has continued to invest in modern facilities and advanced medical equipment, optimize its clinical layout, and develop a highly qualified healthcare workforce under the patient-centered care model. These ongoing investments provide a solid foundation for expanding hospital operations, introducing more advanced medical techniques, and continuously improving healthcare service quality.

The appraisal delegation also recommended that the hospital continue to complete several regulatory requirements to ensure that its planned expansion is implemented effectively, comprehensively, and sustainably.

At the conclusion of the appraisal, the delegation unanimously agreed to recommend that the Director of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Department of Health approve the adjustment of the hospital's operating license, including an increase in bed capacity from 400 to 450 beds and the addition of new medical technical services as proposed in the application.

The successful appraisal marks an important milestone in the development journey of Thai Nguyen International Hospital. It not only recognizes the hospital's professional competence, infrastructure, and management quality but also reaffirms its commitment to continuous innovation and investment in delivering high-quality healthcare services, thereby better meeting the healthcare needs of people in Thai Nguyen Province and neighboring areas.
