SPREADING THE “BEAUTY OF NURSING” AT THAI NGUYEN INTERNATIONAL HOSPITAL

On the afternoon of May 12, Thai Nguyen International Hospital held a ceremony to commemorate the 61st International Nurses Day (May 12, 1965 – May 12, 2026), honoring the silent yet tremendous contributions of nurses in caring for and accompanying patients throughout their healthcare journey.

The event was attended by Meritorious Physician Le Xuan Tan, General Director of TNH Hospital Group Joint Stock Company, along with the hospital’s Board of Directors, representatives from various departments, and a large number of nurses, medical technicians, and midwives working at the hospital.

Speaking at the ceremony, Meritorious Physician Le Xuan Tan highly appreciated and recognized the responsibility, dedication, and continuous efforts of the nursing team — a workforce that plays an especially important role in patient care and healthcare services. He also extended his congratulations and heartfelt gratitude to all nurses on the occasion of International Nurses Day, May 12.

During the program, Nguyen Thi Tuyet, Specialist Level I Nurse and Head of the Nursing Department, presented a summary report on the “Beauty of Nursing” contest, which featured many meaningful activities aimed at promoting the image of professional, dedicated, and compassionate nurses.

The organizing committee also honored departments with outstanding performances in the contest:

• First Prize: Ear, Nose and Throat Department
• Second Prize: Functional Exploration Department and Ophthalmology Department
• Third Prize: Obstetrics Department, General Internal Medicine Department, and Outpatient Department
• Most Voted Award: Functional Exploration Department

The contest was not only a meaningful activity to honor the image of modern and dynamic nurses, but also contributed to strengthening solidarity and cohesion among departments throughout the hospital.

On this occasion, the Party Committee, Trade Union, Youth Union, and Young Physicians Association of the Company also presented gifts of encouragement to pharmacist Bui Thi Mien from the Pharmacy and Medical Supplies Department, with the hope of giving her more strength and motivation to confidently continue treatment and recover soon.

The program concluded in a warm, meaningful, and emotional atmosphere, inspiring the nursing team to continue enhancing their professional expertise, improving the quality of patient care, and contributing to the development of a humane, professional, and modern healthcare environment.
