PROFESSIONAL SKILLS COMPETITION FOR NURSES, MIDWIVES AND MEDICAL TECHNICIANS:

Enhancing the Quality of Patient Care across the TNH Hospital System

Recently, Thai Nguyen International Hospital, TNH Pho Yen Hospital and TNH Viet Yen Hospital successively organized the Professional Skills Competition for Nurses, Midwives and Medical Technicians. This annual professional activity plays a practical role in objectively assessing the professional competence and practical skills of healthcare staff, while also creating a valuable platform for exchange, learning and experience sharing in patient care and service delivery.

At each hospital, the competition was conducted in a serious and well-structured manner, comprising both theoretical and practical components. The contest focused on key areas such as comprehensive patient care, performance of basic and advanced professional techniques, and the management of common clinical situations in strict compliance with professional guidelines and regulations, ensuring patient safety and healthcare service quality.

Within the framework of the competition, Meritorious Physician, Senior Consultant Doctor Le Xuan Tan – General Director of TNH Hospital Group Joint Stock Company, directly observed and encouraged the contestants. He highly appreciated the serious working spirit, sense of responsibility and thorough preparation demonstrated by the Organizing Committees as well as the teams of nurses, midwives and medical technicians at the hospitals. The General Director also offered practical professional recommendations and orientations to further improve the content and format of the competition in the coming period, aiming to enhance training effectiveness and professional quality.

Through the competition, the emulation movement for continuous learning, practice and professional skill improvement among nurses, midwives and medical technicians across the TNH Hospital System has been further promoted. This also served as an opportunity for healthcare workers to review and assess their own competencies, thereby continuously improving professional skills, medical ethics and patient-centered service attitudes.

The Professional Skills Competition for Nurses, Midwives and Medical Technicians held across units within the TNH Hospital System clearly demonstrates the Group’s strong commitment to the development of healthcare human resources, with professional quality as the foundation and patients at the center of all activities.

In the coming time, the TNH Hospital System will continue to maintain and strengthen training and professional development programs, contributing to the building of a workforce of nurses, midwives and medical technicians who are professionally competent, ethically devoted and wholeheartedly dedicated to patient care, better meeting the growing healthcare needs of the community.
