TNH PHO YEN HOSPITAL HOLDS A GATHERING TO CELEBRATE THE 61ST ANNIVERSARY OF INTERNATIONAL NURSES DAY

On the occasion of the 61st anniversary of International Nurses Day (May 12, 1965 – May 12, 2026), TNH Pho Yen Hospital organized an appreciation gathering combined with professional training activities on the afternoon of May 11, 2026, for nurses, midwives, and medical technicians working throughout the hospital.

The program was held to honor the silent yet significant contributions of nurses, midwives, and medical technicians in patient care, treatment, and support throughout the healthcare journey.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Le Van Minh, Specialist Level I and Deputy Director of TNH Pho Yen Hospital, extended his congratulations and sincere appreciation to the nursing and technical staff — those who continuously dedicate themselves with responsibility and compassion in every shift and every patient care procedure. He emphasized that their perseverance, professionalism, and dedication have played an important role in improving the quality of medical services and building a professional, safe, and patient-friendly hospital environment.

A highlight of the program was the professional training session chaired by the Head Nurse of TNH Pho Yen Hospital, focusing on the role of nurses and medical technicians in standard infection prevention practices. Key training topics included hand hygiene, personal protective equipment, injection safety, handling of medical instruments, linen and medical waste management, environmental sanitation, and patient care.

Through this activity, nurses, midwives, and medical technicians were able to strengthen their professional knowledge, standardize clinical practices, and enhance compliance with medical procedures. These efforts contribute significantly to reducing the risk of hospital-acquired infections, shortening treatment duration, lowering healthcare costs, and improving patient satisfaction.
